about the first quarter of the weirdest MLB season either of us can remember. Are we shocked that Corbin Carroll has been so bad? Yes! Are we bamboozled by the Royals looking like a playoff team? (One of us is, and is not convinced they’ll make the postseason. The other thinks they are being rewarded for spending money last off-season, and they will be playing in October).

Do we still think the Orioles will win the AL East now that the Yankees look better than expected and have Gerrit Cole coming back? (One of us does! The other now thinks the Bronx Bombers are the team to beat).

One of us is concerned the Atlanta Braves look uninspired and flat-footed, the other is stunned the Giants have been so bad.

Neither of us know what to make of the NL Central, but are happy to see Christian Yelich is hitting the ball again. Both of us think the Phillies are the best team in baseball right now and that Ranger Suárez is going to be dominant for years to come.
