Join me in the Lab at 12 PM PT Today
One hour of creativity.
Hi friends-
Join me on zoom today from 12 PM PT to 1 PM PT for an hour of journaling, doodling, coloring, sorting, cooking, cleaning out junk drawers, woodworking, listening to music, or anything else that does not involve reading tweets about Elon Musk’s Substack temper tantrum.
We will talk for a few minutes about what we are working on at the start of the hour, offer each other encouragement, then dive in for 55 minutes or so of uninterrupted creativity. We’ll finish up around 1 PM PT and talk about what came up. Some of us keep our cameras on. Some of us don’t. You don’t have to talk or be seen if you don’t want to. You will not be called on to participate if it’s not your thing.
If you haven’t joined one of these sessions before, think of it like a group yoga class, and the rest of the attendees like your gym buddies. Or just think of it like an accountability hour. Have you been putting off a phone call to sort out a bill that’s been weighing on you? Do you need to start your taxes but you feel too overwhelmed? Just give yourself an hour to get started and see where you land when we’re done. You may be amazed by how far you get. Or, you may be amazed that you were able to get started at all (which is also half the battle with literally everything in life).
It doesn’t have to be serious. Today I will be working on some Long Game housekeeping.
Now that it’s baseball season we will continue to meet in the Lab each Saturday at noon PT, as our Sunday Night Baseball live threads have returned to Sundays. So if you can’t join today but would like to join in the future, mark down Saturdays at 12 PM PT for the foreseeable future!
