Join Me with Tyler Kepner tonight to discuss his book "K: A History of Baseball in Ten Pitches" Over Zoom
Our February book club discussion! 5:30 PM PT - 6:30 PM PT.
Hi friends-
I’m thrilled to have Tyler Kepner in conversation tonight discussing his excellent book. We will also talk about the evolution of the modern pitcher, and what to do about the problem that players need to throw very hard to get signed to a big league contract— but not so hard their arms fall off.
The discussion will take place over zoom from 5:30 PM PT - 6:30 PM PT. This zoom is open to all paid subscribers.
If you haven’t read the book, and you still want to join: please do! Tyler is one of the smartest baseball minds in the world and you can hear what he has to say about the state of the game right now as a new season begins in 16 days.
Tyler has been the lead national baseball writer for the New York Times since 2010. Prior to that, he covered the Angels, the Mariners, the Mets, and the Yankees for various newspapers. He got his start when he created a monthly baseball magazine as a tween growing up in Philly. It was so good the Phillies eventually gave him a press pass to cover the team when he was still in high school.
He has been a wonderful friend to me for more than a decade and I can’t wait for you all to meet him tonight!
