Our book club for Lords of the Realm is finally here! Please join us tonight for a discussion of one of the best baseball books I’ve ever read with the author himself, John Helyar. It will take place over zoom from 5:30 PM PT to 6:30 PM PT. John and I will discuss his book for the first 30 minutes or so then open it up to questions from the audience and a general discussion of the never ending fight between the owners and players over money.

Prepping for a job interview so had to miss the Zoom. The book was such fascinating reading! Looking forward to watching the recording. Thanks for making it available to those of us that could not join live. I'm sure it was a lively conversation!
What's the next book in our Book Club queue?
I'm unfortunately not going to be able to make the Zoom due to hosting some of my daughter's friends for dinner but I have read this book and it was a great read - I believe Buster Olney recommends this book as his best recommended read about the history of baseball from a business perspective.
