Come Hang with the Long Game over Zoom from 12 PM PT to 1 PM PT Today to Talk Baseball News of the Week
One hour of talking ball with me and some friends
Hello to all the new people who joined the Long Game community this week. Every Saturday I host a zoom for paid subscribers where we get together and talk ball for an hour. This is VERY informal and fun. You can wear your sweats or your jammies or keep your camera off while you go on a walk and listen. We have fan correspondents from around the league who chime in and let us know everything that’s happening with their teams, including the White Sox, Blue Jays, Cardinals, Red Sox, Orioles, Angels, and more. I find this especially valuable because fans know best!
If you’d like to upgrade your subscription (and support my work!) so you can join all our zooms and chats, you can do so here:
Today we’ll be talking about the Cubs being for real, the NL West hitting the skids at the same time, Blake Snell’s injury, Paul Skenes’ dominance, how angry I continue to be with the Orioles, Aaron Judge’s historic heater, the Sacramento A’s being quite watchable, my best boy Pete Alonso and the Mets, Corbin Carroll and the Snakes, Fernando Tatis Jr. somehow getting better, Hunter Brown being unhittable, and so on.
I want to encourage those of you who are looking to make baseball friends to give this a shot. We have had so many people bond in these zooms that they now go to baseball games all over the country without me! In Boston, Chicago, SF, NY, etc. Come find your people!! Everyone is kind and a baseball nerd. These are the people you want in your life, trust me.
We will meet today over zoom from 12 PM PT to 1 PM PT. Zoom link below! See you in a few hours!
